What Must I Do To Be Saved?

This question is asked and answered in the scriptures. We don't find the whole answer in one passage. We have to look at several. Please study them with us. Read each passage carefully.

Believe in Jesus as the son of God - John 8:24

Repent of every sin - Luke 24:46,47

Confess faith in Jesus with the mouth - Romans 10:10

Be baptized (immersed) in water in obedience to Jesus - Acts 2:36-38

One is now a child of God (Galatians 3:26,27) and God has a special way he expects his children to live - Romans 6:3,4; Romans 12:1,2; Revelation 2:10

The child of God will still sin but God has provided for these sins to be forgiven by repentance, confession and prayer - Acts 8:18-24; 1 John 1:9

So you can see that being saved (forgiven by God for our sins) is not just one step but several. We plead with you to begin taking these steps today.
